Woo! The week is halfway over, and I don’t work (on location) till Friday. Today was filled with multiple WTF’s. Let’s take a look:
1. I had a strength workout to do today. I got all my gear together, remembered my “professional” clothes for swim lessons, packed some snacks….and forgot a sports bra. Yeah.
This was seriously a tough decision. Do I realize it’s fate and just take a rest day, vowing to begin again tomorrow? Or do I suck it up and work out in my regular bra? (Note: We all know that this is possible since I’m not heavily endowed in that area. Don’t feel bad for thinking it, it’s the truth).
We’ve already veered into TMI territory, so what the hell: I worked out anyway. I wouldn’t have if I was running, but for lifting? It sucks but it’s doable.
2. Two club swimmers walked by me at lessons – one was ranting about Democrats. Excuse me girl, you are in middle school. I’m all for being politically informed, but come on. If I met my Middle-school self today, I am 100% certain I would punch her in the face.
3. Hell = Salem at rush hour. How do you get away with only one bridge across a river in a good-sized city?! Also, someone please explain why this seemed like a good idea:
Enough with the ridiculousness, let’s get to the food!
Breakfast: A yogurt bowl with Justin’s Maple Almond Butter, vanilla Chobani, blackberries, a kiwi (GREEN!), and the last of my Trader Joe’s Maple Brown Sugar FMW (eaten as a single tear rolled down my cheek…RIP FMW)
Lunch: Today was our monthly staff meeting, so I took advantage of the free food. An open faced sandwich with roast beef, turkey, hummus, red onion, and tomatoes, potato salad, light caesar salad (MORE GREENS!), and one two lemon bars. You know I had to take advantage of the lemon bars….
Snack: Homemade Granola bar. I used Anne’s No-Bake recipe and it was actually super amazing (not because I doubt her cooking abilities, but because I normally don’t go for peanut butter flavored things). Turns out if you use actual peanut butter granola bars taste awesome.
Dinner: Leftovers! Thai Red Curry and Quinoa, same as last night. With a La Croix lime sparkling water for pizazz.
Dessert: I’m getting a little hungry, so I think some late snack action is going to happen…probably something with cookie butter. And fruit.
Not very many greens today…I should have just gone with the regular button.
Till tomorrow friends!
What’s your favorite non-chocolate dessert?
I gave up chocolate for lent, so this is an honest question. For me…maybe tiramisu? Or pie. Or cake batter ice cream. God this question is hard.
What’s the one thing you HAVE to have to work out (this assumes you have a shirt/shorts/shoes)?
I need to have my headphones if I’m running. In general, a headband is usually a dealbreaker as well.

Glad you liked the bars! And I’ve totally pulled the normal bra workout before, too, ha.
